| DAY THREE |
 Some thoughts from "Day Three":
-Departed Van Buren, AR at 9:45am CST.
-Adding to our list of interesting road kill: a porcupine
-Oklahoma rest areas are very meager, but also have some charm. (As opposed to the AR ones, which are just meager.) (See photos)
-Saw some windmill fields in OK.
-I sprained my wrist moving boxes into the truck on Thursday, and now three days later (and after tightly gripping a steering wheel for 24+ hours), I can feel my tendons creak and stretch painfully inside my wrist. Time to ice it.
-Bank of America froze my debit card. AGAIN! Now it's getting annoying.
-The open spaces of the Texas panhandle are beautiful! Over population? Not here!
-Texas roads and rest areas are AMAZING! (Wi-Fi etc.) (See photo. We'll stop at one tomorrow and take some better pics.)
-We saw the "largest Cross in the western hemisphere". 190ft! Our Sunday pilgrimage. (See photos)
-Again, if you EVER merge onto a highway and a truck gives you some space... SPEED UP AND TAKE IT! (Your acceleration is MUCH better than ours!)
-Arrived in Amarillo, TX at 6:45pm CST. Ate dinner at "Texas Roadhouse." (Yes, Texans eat at "Texas Roadhouse." It was packed at 7:30pm on a Sunday night!)
Until next time... (Gallup, NM)
Enjoy the new "Day Three" pics on the photo page. (They are getting a bit more interesting.)

Is that some Oregon Trail I see above? That's almost as glorious as long forgotten Epcot rides pontificating on the wonders of imagination. Though certainly less purple.
It sounds like you guys are doing well, keep it up. I wish you two all the best.
-Fan of Toad Suck, AR (and mayor of Ferris, MT)

You have to know that I would take credit for everything being bigger and better in Texas!
